Well, almost everyone knows by now that we are expecting baby number 4!!!! We are so thrilled. We are due on January 11th making me a little over 17 weeks.
We found out on May 18th. I had been feeling "off" for a little while, but honestly I didn't feel pregnant. When I took the test with Selah I already knew it would be postivie because I felt pregnant. This was different. I can't really describe it, but I was feeling bloated and uncomfortable - back aches and such. I wasn't sure what was up, but I convinced myself I was NOT pregnant, but I took a test just to "rule it out" -- it came up positive and I couldn't believe it. I was in shock. I called for Havana and had her run the test to Jason yelling, "Surprise, Daddy!" He laughed really hard when he realized what Havana was carrying.
We told Havana about the baby in my belly and then the next day she said, "How is Baby Coop?" I asked her who baby coop was and she said, "The baby in mama's belly" -- so it has a nickname already.
My first trimester flew by and was very easy except the complete exhaustion!
Now the 2nd trimester has been a little bit harder just because I am so hungry all of the time! About every 2 hours I am wanting a meal which has been hard with the kiddos and for my waistline! Ha!
I switched doctors for this pregnancy because our hospital experience was selah was so horrible - the DR was great and so I was sad to leave her, but we knew we needed another hospital. I will say that even though I miss my old doctor I am loving my new practice! Everyone is friendly, tere is no birth control propaganda on the walls- only photos of babies and their ultrasound photos! It is beautiful! I've been a few times and have had two ultrasounds! The baby is getting big and I've been feeling it move since 10 weeks!
At the end of the month we have our u/a telling us if it is a boy or girl.... Exciting stuff and I'm so thankful the Lord is blessing us with another little life!!!!
